Tripods

The durable, lightweight, aluminum tripod features auto-locking, telescoping legs. Cast aluminum tripod head comes complete with two integrated locking snaphooks for attachment of pulleys or auxiliary equipment. Each of the tripod’s legs may be independently adjusted to compensate for uneven terrain using quick insert locking pins. Anti-skid rubber feet and leg chains help make Gemtor tripods OSHA compliant anchorages capable of supporting 5,000 lbs. (310 lbs. working load)

Quadpods

Model # QP-4 Portable Quadpod
Ideal for situations where the use of a tripod is either impractical or impossible. The Quadpod is easy to set-up and collapse and each leg is independently adjustable to compensate for uneven terrain. The removable boom rotates 360º and locks in any position. Height 90", Reach 26", Tested static load 5400 lbs., Working load 310 lbs., Distance between legs 54". 

Multi-function fall arrest/retrieval device helps protect
a worker from falling and has an integral winch mechanism that allows a worker to be raised to the surface quickly and easily. Attaches to any Gemtor Tripod, Quadpod, or Davit with quick-insert locking pins or can be hung from overhead using an optional carabiner. Features include a large, rubber-coated knob which makes engaging and disengaging retrieval mode an easy, one-hand operation. Precision internal components and a strong, weather-resistant cast aluminum housing ensure reliability and dependability. The Model # RS3 has two independent braking systems: an energy absorbing centrifugal brake arrests a fall softly within 24"; a friction brake activates immediately when raising or lowering is stopped and holds the load in place.

The unit is supplied with 3/16" diameter galvanized or stainless steel cable lifeline in 50' or 100' lengths and has a permanently attached locking swivel snaphook for connection to a full-body harness.

Designed for raising or lowering an employee into a
work position or for use in rescue operations. Features cable guide for automatic placement of cable on drum and two independent braking systems to ensure reliable operation. Housing is made of sturdy lightweight cast aluminum. Attaches to any Gemtor Tripod, Quadpod, or Davit. Comes with 3/16" diameter galvanized or stainless steel cable with locking swivel snaphook permanently attached. NOT FOR FALL ARREST.

Wristlets with Yoke Lanyard

Model # 930Y Wristlets are made of durable 3-ply neoprene impregnated nylon and are designed for use in confined spaces or tanks with narrow openings where the worker may have to be withdrawn. Wristlets are sold in pairs; each wristlet has a permanently attached 1" wide x 6' long (3' each leg) polyester web yoke lanyard with a D-ring in the center.

Yoke Lanyard with Spreader Bar

Model # 261SB Two-legged 1" wide polyester web lanyard with a locking snaphook at each end and a D-ring in the center. Spreader bar separates lanyard’s legs for attachment to shoulder D-rings of harness. Standard length: 5' (30" each leg).

Sentry Carrying Bags

Model # WB1 Carrying bag for Sentry Self-Retracting Lifelines, retrieval winches or other equipment. Made of nylon, has solid reinforced bottom with feet. Measures 12" high x 12" wide x 20" long.

Construction Style

Model # 955 - Sub-pelvic, polyester full-body harness with foam back pad, and removable, heavy-duty tongue buckle waist belt. Other features include adjustable shoulder straps and quick connect chest and leg straps.

Fall Protection Coveralls

Model # FPC - Patented design features an OSHA compliant full-body harness permanently incorporated into a 8.5 oz. Flame retardant Indura® coverall.  The coveralls come in a range of sizes and since the harnesses is sized to the coverall, no adjustment or adjusting hardware is needed.  Inside the coverall, there are no loose straps, making donning fast and simple.  The Model # SPCL energy absorber fits in a specially designed pocket at the center of the wearer's back. A chest pocket holds the lanyard when not in use.  Meets CSA Z259.10

Nomex® Fall Protection Overalls

Model # FPO -Made of 4.5 oz. Nomex® IIIA, this overall is lightweight enough to be worn in almost any climate, offers the flame resistance of Nomex®, and features the fall protection of an OSHA compliant polyester full-body harness. The overall is available in a range of sizes and requires only minimal adjustment since the harness is sized to fit the overall. Quick connect buckles at the shoulder straps makes donning fast and simple. The Model # SPCL energy absorbing lanyard  fits in a specially designed pocket at the center of the wearer’s back. A chest pocket holds the snaphook and web lanyard when not in use. CSA Z259.10 approved model available.
