UNDERGROUND DETECTABLE TAPE

Our underground detectable tapes provide the ultimate protection in preventing costly "Dig-Ins".  Designed to be last in first out. Provides both a highly visible warning and can be easily located with most pipe or cable locators. This tape is available in 2" x 1000', 3" x 1000', 6" x 1000' and 12" x 1000' rolls as well as custom widths and lenghts.

United Safety's 5-mil double-laminated, permanently printed bold, black-lettered underground detectable tape comes in all APWA color-coded legends and can be custom printed in up to 4 different ink colors with company logos, symbols, messages and languages.

UNDERGROUND NON-DETECTABLE TAPE

Specifically designed for underground use, United Safety's specially formulated extra heavy 4.5 mil polyethylene tape resists chemicals in soil for longer life.
Available in 3" and 6" x 1000' rolls

Alerts workers to buried pipes or cables, preventing accidental breaks and averting costly or dangerous accidents. Easy to install, may be put into the ground at the same time pipe and cable is buried using a cable plow.

Our non-adhesive polyethylene Underground Tape is a simple, economical way to protect buried utility lines. Tapes are impervious to alkalies, acids and other soil components. Available in 3" x 1000' and 6" x 1000' lengths from stock or other widths available by special order. These tapes are printed with many stock legends or can be printed with your own custom wording. Meets APWA recommended color codes.

Underground tape should be installed 12"-18" below ground level and 12" directly above buried pipes, cables and conduits, before final backfilling. Installation of underground tape should be supervised by a professional or authority concerned with the proper use of the product.
