Spherical Power Line Marker
TWM - SD

his is the original model of the Spherical Power Line Marker, and still the most popular and economical.  It was designed in the 1960's in cooperation with the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics and the Arkansas Division of the Federal Aviation Administration.  It has remained in continuous production, with only minor changes, since its introduction.

This Marker installs easily on any wire 1/8" - 1" (Custom wire sizes are available) through the use of two UV resistant neoprene strip bushings installed on the wire to match the diameter of the openings (boss) in the Marker.  The Marker is then securely bolted around the wire, clamping down on the bushings.

TWM - JX

he Model JX, we feel, is an improvement over the Model SD.  It is easier to install, having only four bolts to clamp it to the wire, and has a larger contact area with the wire for a more secure attachment.

The minimal difference in price between this Marker and the Model SD makes this one of our most popular choices.

3M Engineer Grade Night Visibility Reflective Tape
For Night Time Visibility
fter years of research, in cooperation with the U.S. Army, the FAA, and the 3M Corporation, we came up with the best means of making a Marker visible at nighttime.  This Engineer Grade Reflective Tape has reflective properties several times stronger than that of other methods, and is hundreds of times more economical and reliable than a lighted marker.

In some cases, when our customers require the Marker to be visible without the aid of an aircraft's own lighting system, spot lights are set up either on the ground or on a pole to light the reflective tape.

3M Engineer Grade Night Visibility Reflective Tape is available as an option on all Wire Markers.


Spherical Power Line Marker

 

TWM - BN

esigned in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration, this Marker is especially suited for high voltage applications.  This design has been tested to voltages as high as 700KV.  The BN Marker is Armor Rod mounted similar to our model AR, and comes in 24" and 36" diameter only.

When ordering, please provide the outside diameter of the wire.

TWM - KJ

he Model KJ is designed to provide a more positive clamping action.  The clamp, constructed from corrosion resistant aluminum, is custom matched to the specific diameter of the wire on which the Marker is to be installed.  This method is preferred by many power companies.

Corona Protection up to 220KV is an available option with this Marker.

TWM - XL

he Model XL Marker unquestionably has the strongest clamping mechanism in the industry.  The clamp is constructed from cast aluminum and is bored out to the exact size needed to fit securely on any wire.

When ordering, please provide the outside diameter of the wire.

Corona Protection up to 220KV is an available option with this Marker.

TWM - AR

rmor Rod is widely utilized in the utility and power industries.  We've incorporated it into one of our most popular Markers.  This Marker has two sets of Armor Rod set into a bracket, bolted to the inside of the Marker.  Installation is quick and easy and the interlaced Armor Rods hold the Marker securely in place.  The Armor Rod can be made to fasten to the wire outside of the Marker for even easier installation.

When ordering , please provide the outside diameter of the wire.

The model AR can be provided with "Corona Protection" for voltages up to 220KV.
